Hire Conditions

We charge £150 for Friday/Saturday evening hire from 19.00-23.30 and £50 per hour at all other times. This includes staffing, music system and clear up. Please note that we charge VAT to businesses who are VAT registered.

We have a license to sell alcohol, last orders is 22.45, time at the bar is 23.00 and all guests must be off the premises by 23.30. (These timings are reduced by 30 mins on a Sunday).

We will turn the music off and put the lights on at 23.00, asking people to finish their drinks by 23.20 and start getting their coats.

Guests can sit outside on the terrace until 21.00 but can’t take drinks outside after this.

We don’t allow smoking on our premises (inside or out) but guests can smoke by the wall opposite.

You are welcome to supply a playlist but our staff have control of the volume at all times. Alternatively tell us what style of music you like and we can access it through Spotify or Apple Music.

We don’t move furniture to create a dancefloor as we have neighbours upstairs and dancefloors get too loud. For the same reason we don’t allow DJ’s.

You are welcome to bring balloons etc but anything put up must be done with white-tac only, no cellotape or blue-tac as it marks the walls and takes the paint off. Things may only be attached to the walls and pillars (NOT ceiling, lights, fairy lights, pictures, mirrors, plants etc) Also no party poppers, table confetti or glitter cannons please as it gets stuck between the grooves in our tables which becomes unhygienic.

Please take anything you bring with you home as we will be trading later that day or the next.

We are licensed to have children on the premises until 19.00.

Due to the nature of our business hire charges are non-refundable.

All food orders must be placed and paid for a minimum of 2 weeks in advance.
